Planetek Italia is a company established in 1994, which employs 60+ men and women, specialised in Geoinformatics, Space solutions, and Earth observation.
We provide solutions to exploit the value of geospatial data through all phases of data life cycle from acquisition, storage, management up to analysis and sharing.
We operate in many application areas ranging from environmental and land monitoring to open-government and smart cities, and including engineering, defence and security, as well as satellite missions and space exploration.
Planetek is very active in R&D (FP7, H2020, national programmes). A high involvement in the research and in the analysis of new techniques, which leads to integrate remote sensing information with state-of-the-art technologies such as HPC, AI and blockchain.
Planetek has developed Rheticus®, the award-winning geospatial analytics platform, through which vertical solutions are offered in the market.
