NIGHTFOX VTIGS - Night Vision Training System

The NIGHTFOX VTIGS provides a dynamic NV training environment in a classroom. Core of the system are AMST‘s state-of-the-art VISIM image generator and a highly advanced IR-capable projection system. These components create an image that stimulates Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) at their peak sensitivity and at the same time shows the unaided night scene. This is essential for effective NV training. During the training, trainees can take off their NVGs to see dark terrain and normal cultural lighting. The operator has full control of the environment and can move the camera with a wireless game controller. The broad wavelength of NIGHTFOX VTIGS gives exceptionally precise simulation of the NVG scene. Due to the specific IR modelling, night scenes are realistically demonstrated especially in relation to environmental and cultural lighting effects. The system can be installed permanently in a training room or provided as a mobile solution. It is also possible to fit flight simulators with the NV capabilities of NIGHTFOX VTIGS.
