Savannah Resources owns the Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal, the largest spodumene lithium resource in Europe.
Savannah is focused on operating responsibly and has taken the Project through several milestones recently including approval from Portugal’s environmental regulator, a Scoping Study, and a strategic partnership with AMG Critical Materials N.V.. This partnership funds the Project through to a final investment decision and could also deliver all the construction finance required.
The Project will make a significant contribution towards Europe’s CRMA target for domestic lithium extraction by producing c.190kt of concentrate annually, containing enough lithium for approximately 0.5 million EV batteries.
