Horiana

Horiana is a consulting company dedicated to epidemiology and biostatistics, specialized in generating real-world evidence by implementing and conducting studies using primary or secondary real-world data. Its activities mostly focus on the description of medico-economic burden of diseases and patient care pathways, and assessment of all health products (vaccine, drug, or medical device) and services (telemonitoring) in all therapeutic areas, with a specific interest in infectious diseases, oncology, and cardiovascular diseases.

Based on the 6 founders’ extensive experience of more than 20 years, and on a team of 25 highly qualified people, we offer tailor-made support to the needs of our both public and private customers. We can answer a specific request such as providing scientific or methodological expertise, writing out a protocol or carrying out statistical analyses, or we can also manage the entire study project from the research question to the study report and the results dissemination (i.e. definition of the research question and objectives, drafting of the study protocol, regulatory process, animation of expert committees, statistical analyses, results interpretation and dissemination).

Those projects can be based on data from primary or secondary data sources carried out in collaboration with one of our trusted partners if needed, either at a national level, or internationally in cooperation with our European data partners. We have recently expanded our activities in US by opening a new branch in San Francisco.

We also offer customized trainings in epidemiology and data science (all levels) and develop educational tools tailored to the specific needs of our customers.
