Chemical Recycling: A Viable Path towards Sustainable Products in Czech Republic?

• Thermal depolymerisation (or pyrolysis) of waste plastics & rubbers with maximised yields of liquid products represent a key enabler of chemical recycling in regions, where ethylene-based petrochemistry is operated. • In the EU, there are currently several obstacles that prevent this concept to be widely deployed, that need to be tackled. • A novel, general & complex concept of thermal depolymerisation technology will be presented together with results of R&D activities of the key-technological features vital to the concept.
