Base One Hydrogen Plant

Base One Hydrogen Plant

Projects

Information

The Base One facility in Brazil will be the largest hydrogen production facility in the world and provides a strategic location for our renewable hydrogen production with direct access to all major international markets via ocean freight and a deep sea port. The plant will produce over 600 million kg of green hydrogen per year from already contracted 3.4GW of combined baseload wind and solar power through a partnership with Enerwind. Base One will use renewable assets to produce hydrogen which will then be shipped globally to enable the Enegix Zero Carbon Platform which will provide hydrogen based Zero Carbon Fuel for mobility and hydrogen powered Zero Carbon Grids for electricity in key markets to replace high carbon emitting hydrocarbons including diesel and coal through baseload power contracts which can be built and operated anywhere in the world. These grids will provide affordable, dependable, zero carbon, and baseload electricity to governments, utilities and customers. The project includes an unparalleled opportunity for future green renewable power capacity with scale potential of over 100GW as part of Enegix’s commitment to secure and transform power into exportable green hydrogen to accelerate the energy transition and create a more sustainable and equitable future.
