Commercializing solid-state sodium batteries.
LiNa is commercializing solid-state sodium batteries which offer breakthrough performance and unmatched safety, at a lower cost than lithium-ion. Our batteries deliver greatly increased energy and power densities versus other sodium-ion batteries and contain no lithium or cobalt, enabling local and transparent supply chains with low carbon footprints. Founded in 2017 and based out of Lancaster in the United Kingdom, LiNa Energy has taken the concept for our breakthrough battery and developed it into operational systems that currently produce energy density at levels comparable with existing commercial lithium batteries and with the potential to deliver energy density comparable to solid-state lithium. We are now working with key partners to bring our low-cost energy storage systems to markets across the world.
