Dornier Suntrace GmbH is an independent expert advisory firm based in Hamburg and part of the Dornier Group, an internationally operating one-stop shop for engineering and consulting services in the infrastructure sector. Towards the transition from fossil to renewable, we are guiding our clients in different continents in the development and implementation of their renewable energy projects - developing innovative applications of renewable energy to find the best solution for each project.
Since establishing Suntrace in 2009, we have supported renewable projects of >10.000 MW in >30 different countries, covering the whole range of technologies: PV, Wind, CSP, Solar thermal, Battery and thermal energy storage. Our expertise has been growing alongside the changes and improvements in the solar, wind and battery markets.
With respect to the mining industry, this means a specifically tailor-made solution reflecting the mine’s needs, taking into consideration the boundary conditions at the mine (solar & wind, land availability, load profile, power generation cost) to determine the economics of the renewable project and the benefits to the mine operations.
100% renewable energy supply may seem at distance and not affordable today but it will be a cost efficient reality tomorrow. Getting there will be a process in different stages. We can be your partner during this process to make it a success.
