ABM & CVA Airborne: an innovative offer for the enhancement of mining heritage in Senegal

In accordance with the guidelines of the Sectorial Policy Letter for the development of the mining sector in Senegal, and at the request of the Direction de la Prospection et de la Promotion Minière (DPPM), the experts of the African Bureau of Mining Consultants ("ABM") and CVA Airborne (CVA-INFOGEO partnership) held a webinar on the theme of geological reconnaissance and the enhancement of mining heritage: • First, the ABM team presented its activities and achievements in the valuation and promotion of gold, copper and other mineralizations. By relying on qualified experts and partnerships covering the entire value chain from exploration to operation, ABM provides innovative solutions for the creation of added value and the structuring of win-win partnerships for the development of mining properties. • Secondly, the CVA Airborne team presented innovative methods of “augmented” geological reconnaissance, based on the interpretation of geophysical data acquired by airborne or terrestrial means, on a geological object. The CVA Airbone team focused on the value of drones for campaigns optimizing the time and cost of production. The fields of application are prospecting for mining resources and materials, geotechnics and soil studies.
