K-12 TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP

Information

The pandemic was a wakeup call for many educational institutions and government agencies, that digital technologies are inherently tied to institutional goals. The acceleration of technological adoption is paramount in continuing student engagement, teachers and care-givers enablement, as well as providing continuity for each institution's operations and administrative functions. While earlier focuses centered around providing connectivity, productivity devices, and collaboration and learning resources to students of all ages - from video to digital textbooks to social media platforms - much is needed to provision a mix of onsite and distance learning, using digital tools that support both models. These new tools will not only support the new normal (e.g. apps that help with contract tracing or AI for online proctoring tools), but also help schools create new learning innovations that better education future generations.
