"Noble Wastes"

To go further in our approach of circular economy, we decided to think "sustainability" from the sourcing of the raw materials and develop upcycled products. We met Jean-François who has worked in the cider industry for 20 years in the Nort-West of France and who supplies us with its apple marc. It is the dried part of it that is then used in our recyclcing circuit. In it is the flesh of the pressed apple, the skin, the core with the pips, the woody tissues of the endocarp, and the apple stalk. After distillation and stabilization stages, Herbarom transformed then this waste into a distillated water from apple waste at 22,3% ORGANIC, an extract certifiable as 99,3% organic by ECOCERT, in accordance with COSMOS standards. Rich in precious active ingredients, with a fruity and sweety fragrance, our apple pomace water may bring a real added value to skin care formulas and reinforce our corporate social responsability. The first application formula in this collection is a hand cream.
