Ad Alliance's Lisa Niedzwiecki and Alexander Baxmann talk about how they brought the individual offer communication of REWE and its merchants on television. The Challenge: Since July 2023, REWE has discontinued its offer brochure and is now focusing on more sustainable digital media in the future. The elimination of the REWE brochure deprives the 2000+ merchants of their most important advertising medium. The Solution: Ad Alliance's retailer solution brings local offers to the big screen for the first time, allowing the advertising customer REWE to present constantly changing offers. For example, milk in Cologne Hürth, butter 500m further. Using the retailer solution and an AI developed by REWE, the weekly offer data of over 2000 REWE merchants is intelligently integrated into the Addressable TV advertising product Switch In XXL DCA based on selected KPIs and played out on a regional level. This includes up to 100,000 products with individual prices and availabilities.
