Building on the European Interoperability Framework to a strengthened interoperability policy for the EU’s public sector

We are looking for your input! This interactive workshop will discuss the preliminary findings of the evaluation of the European Interoperability Framework and impact assessment of the future interoperability policy for the EU’s public sector and give you the opportunity to share your experience and ideas to shape the future policy.

As a key step in building a “Europe fit for the digital age”, the Commission will develop a stronger interoperability policy for the EU’s public sector, to foster coordination and the adoption of common standards for public services and data flows. To this end, an impact assessment is currently underway to inform the design of the new policy by analysing several options and their potential impacts. The design of the new policy is supported by the evaluation of the European Interoperability Framework.
