Supporting the growth and development of green SMMEs. Brought to you by GreenCape and The Friedrich Naumann Foundation

SMMEs form the backbone of most economies worldwide, providing high levels of employment and contributing extensively to GDP growth. Successful green enterprises are driven by passionate and committed green entrepreneurs who recognize their social responsibility and seize opportunities to capitalize on them through a business. This results in innovation as well as sustained economic growth and social development.

Join Claire Pengelly (GreenCape Water & Sustainable Agriculture Programme Manager) and Cecelia Kok (Head: Head of Research and Advocacy Projects, FNF South Africa) unpacking green entrepreneurship in South Africa and highlighting the  critical support needed to grow green SMMEs.

This session will also introduce the newly launched Green Business Support Services Directory, developed by GreenCape, in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
