4) Decentralising Intelligence and Swarm Computing

Online
Parallel Discussion Session

Information

The paradigm shift towards edge computing and decentralised intelligence requires new architecture and tools for decentralised device and edge intelligence. This session complements dynamic programming environments and tools for the compute continuum from the cloud towards the edge and device perspective. It addresses relevant visions, research trends and challenges which arise in the context of the topic on “Programming tools for decentralised intelligence and swarms” of the second Call under Horizon Europe, Cluster 4, Destination 3. The objective is to discuss existing efforts and to identify key initiatives for research and innovation in this area, covering the research, technology and application perspective.
