As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you will lead a group of awesome engineers in one of our core teams. Your team’s job is to render the aspirations of our clients into a fully-functional, adaptive, cloud platform. You should have knuckles-deep familiarity with AWS technologies, intimate knowledge of some scripting language (bash, python, etc) with major advantages given to candidates who are articulate in GoLang, Python, Nodejs, containers, database architectures, networking design, Terraform, or CloudFormation. The perfect candidate is one who can hit the ground running; designing in accordance with AWS best practices solutions using the latest feature sets and technologies. You’ll become an expert in uncovering challenges that our prospective clients face; demonstrating how StratusGrid solves those challenges, addresses strategic concerns, and helps companies grow.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Decipher what our clients want and faithfully render those goals using infrastructure as code and any relevant scripting languages/consoles
- Communicate daily with our development/leadership teams and our clients
- Engage directly with IT and/or C-level executives to demonstrate functionality, understand key challenges, and coordinate tasks as we adapt to changes
- Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities

- Ability to quickly ramp up on StratusGrid’s offerings portfolio and internal standards/processes, as well as contribute to reusable modules and processes
- Technical skills sufficient to enable quality conceptual solution architecture design
- Self-motivated and independently driven. Ability to execute on goals without the need for constant supervision
- Humility, willingness to ask questions, and ability to mentor others on the team
- Mastery in working as a team
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of full-time experience designing and deploying AWS production systems
- 5+ years in systems/network engineering
- Obvious passion and people skills, customer-centric, and goal-oriented
- AWS Certifications
- Highly organized with project/task management skills
- Engaging personality with the ability to run a live demo with a technical audience
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
