MIDDLE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER (JAVA)

YOU ARE A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and the following expertise A minimum of 3 years as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) 3+ years developing automation frameworks in Java, C#/C++, Python, and SQL At least 1 year working with JMeter/Postman are related tools for performance and API testing Building frameworks like BDD, Hybrid frameworks using Cucumber/Selenium Writing complex SQL queries with databases: SQL Server, Oracle, etc. Effective articulation of technical challenges and solutions Agile or Scrum software development methodologies Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills YOU WANT TO WORK WITH Creating detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase of the project to ensure replicability and compliance with standards Software developers closely to ensure features/products achieve desired level of quality Delivering quality products by thoroughly testing throughout all phases of development lifecycle using functional testing, regression/integration testing, performance testing Identifying and implementing improvements to test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts TOGETHER WE WILL Participate actively in understanding project plans and providing regular updates on milestones Enforce quality assurance processes, ensuring all technology practices adhere to best practice standards Take initiative and drive the implementation of a QA materials repository (repo of test cases, test steps) Work with the product team to organize and facilitate QA sessions, UAT, and production smoke-tests Participate in scrum meetings and ensure that proper documentation is created for test automation
