SENIOR TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER (ANDROID)

The client's dynamic POS Platform team is rapidly growing as they optimize their digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe. We seek a Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for creating and implementing an automated test framework for our POS platform and integrating it with our eCommerce platform. In this role, you will work as part of a scrum delivery team to ensure that automated tests are in place that assure functionality works as expected from the moment it is released. The client's team is based in Chicago and Plano, TX. YOU ARE Showing the following experience A Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, engineering, or equivalent background Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and coding, familiar with general data structures, algorithms, and pattern designs Android development and/or QA automation; mobile Android test automation required Developing/testing Restful APIs Kotlin or Java for Android development Building automated mobile test frameworks; preferably in Kaspresso or Espresso Agile development process Requirements analysis skills POS systems (highly desired) Fluent English level to enable daily collaboration with the client’s team (Intermediate+ English level) YOU WANT TO WORK WITH Your duties will enable you to Develop automated tests for existing and new feature functionality in-sprint Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for your Scrum team Contribute to internally built test frameworks Identify, record, and document defects identified within our products Collaborate daily with Developers Report to POS QA Lead but collaborate day-to-day embedded in a Scrum team TOGETHER WE WILL Help our client to build software to serve people in new ways to make team members more productive and customers happier Work in a very collaborative environment Care about your individual initiatives — we are open to them, just come and share your ideas Support your technical and personal growth — we have a dedicated career plan for all roles in our company
