Responsibilities:
]Your main responsibility will be to support highly available production environments with a particular focus on optimization and troubleshooting of content delivery networks
Respond to and resolve customer technical tickets within specified SLA terms
Responsible for providing ongoing service support and system administration tasks
Increase system efficiency through scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other automation technologies
Automate the provisioning of cloud resources
Work closely with the Infrastructure Architects and Development teams in the design, engineering, and planning of infrastructure and how it takes advantage of the CDN
Deliver security-related enhancements at the CDN layer
Troubleshooting customer environments and applications relating to failures and performance issues related to CDN
Responsible for providing ongoing service support and system administration tasks
Contribute to our existing knowledgebase and team growth in your area of expertise
Skills Needed:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
5+ years of working in the IT Domain
3+ years of experience working with public cloud platforms\Extensive, hands-on, experience with CDN management Akamai/CloudFront/Varnish (Akamai experience preferred)
In-depth knowledge of one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, MS Azure or GCP
Solid DevOps skills
Strong network experience including network transport (TCP)/ DNS/ IP / HTTP / quic / RTMP / HLS and other protocols, and browsers and relevant troubleshooting issues
Knowledge of security systems including WAF and Bot Mitigation
Experience with Linux/Unix and programming languages such as Python, Java or shell scripting with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Expertise in Network and Cloud automation with affinity for writing maintainable code in languages such as JS, Python or Ruby, Shell
Strong communication and collaboration skills
