Responsibilities:
In this role you will be developing functional back-end micro-services using the specific framework & CQRS patterns and integrate with individual micro-services to provide work-management solutions. Backend Developers use technologies such as Java8, JEE, JMS & JPA to help build micro-services and take them from inception all the way to production. You will be working in agile fashion with daily scrums with other developers to ensure good design and development practices are followed. You will be given chance to learn from others as well as answer questions from, mentor, and coach less experienced developers as required. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise-focused development artefacts and supporting frequent code delivery. You will be working with development environments revolving around Google Cloud with heavy focus on Kubernetes – often breaking down monolithic applications to microservices and migrating them to Kubernetes running on Google Cloud itself.
Skills Needed:
Expert in domain-driven design & microservices development
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Courage to ask why and question design decisions made
Willingness to learn new technologies & cloud-first design patterns
Design – Domain-driven design, microservices design patterns e.g. CQRS
Languages & Framework- Spring Boot/ Spring Cloud API/ Spring MVC/ Struts/ Restful API/ Java 8 and above, PL/SQL
Database – MS SQL/ Oracle/ MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ NoSQL / CloudSQL
Message: Kafka or Solace
API Management: Apigee or Mulesoft or TYK or KONG or cloud-native API Management
Other Tools & Scripts – Maven/Gradle, Confluence, Swagger
Hands-on Experience in DevOps and CI/CD will be added advantage
GCP experience will be an advantage
