Keynote Panel: How do we improve the public perception of the data centre industry?

As the data centre industry grows, governments, media and the public have criticised the industry for the amount of energy consumed. We are starting to see much more visible developments which may impact communities. Operators need to realise that they have to engage with those communities on which they have an impact. In addition, citizens need to understand that the demand for digital services drives this growth and that they rely on the internet and need to use energy and digital infrastructure.
