Museum Series Claybord™ is made from our premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-Certified Hardbord™ that is sealed and protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal™ and coated with an ultra-smooth, highly absorbent acid-free kaolin clay ground that is perfect for mixed media.
The surface is sanded to an ULTRA-smooth, highly absorbent finish so your paint colors remain true and brilliant. The unique clay surface allows for unlimited techniques – etching, erasing, reworking, adding color and scratching it away to add contrast, texture, and fine detail.
New oversized Claybord panels are available with a 2" profile in sizes 48" x 48", 48" x 60" and 48" x 72".
