Information

Filter Process has provided many press filters in 20, 30, and 40 plate designs. Larger and smaller ones are available, depending on batch size. Each end plate is has a solid steel plate encased in stainless sheet overlay for maximum compression. Coupled with the use of Beco medias, the press exhibits very little drip loss. Combined with the correct blowdown procedure, very little beverage loss occurs. Average flows can be up to 20 gpm, however, by keep the pressure differential low at the beginning of the run, longer run times are possible. We inventory the sizes mentioned, with 40 plates being the most popular by far. Aftermarket spare parts are available through our NJ warehouse.
