Lurex® Gimp Yarns are used extensively in many areas of the textile industry, from wide width weaving to narrow ribbons, military regalia, embroidery, braids, knitting, cords, ropes, twisting, trimmings and leavers lace liner gimp decoration®.
Gimp yarns are produced by wrapping a Lurex® thread around a core yarn.
LUREX® SPACE GIMP are gimp yarns where the Lurex® does not fully cover the core yarn so is visible between the outer Lurex® thread.
LUREX® BOURDON GIMP yarn is where the Lurex® Thread fully covers the core yarn to create a round looking Lurex® yarn.
