LUREX® SUSTAINABLE RECYCLED GRS CERTIFIED METALLIC YARNS

Here at Lurex® we believe sustainability should not just be a buzz word but a key word when choosing materials for production of yarn, fabrics and clothing for a more Eco Friendly Textile Industry. The Lurex® Brand is pleased to now offer their first GRS certified recycled metallic yarns to the market place. Our launch yarns within this new collection are manufactured using post consumer recycled polyester reducing plastic waste and environmental impact. Working with trusted and long term supply partners all of our yarns are traceable to origin and each stage of the recycled yarn production certified right to the final sales transactions. We offer a range of fashion colours including Silver and Gold with suitability to a range of yarn dye applications including weaving, circular and flatbed knitting, lace, embroidery, woven labels and trimmings. The development process is ongoing and in the coming weeks we will launch more GRS Certified yarns offering more options for softness and dyability required by todays consumers.
