Augmenting Our City: Centering Student Work in the Creation of AR Cité

Imagine if our city could speak of its past… what secrets would be revealed?

Over the past two years, Dawson College students, local media and tech professionals and Dawson faculty from a range of disciplines have been building AR Cité, an augmented reality app that brings to life a selection of stories and critical reflections from in and around the Dawson community. Come and try out some of the student-created AR experiences and learn about how augmented reality serves as an engaging and relevant pedagogical tool for the 21st century college classroom.
