Connecting Sustainable Finance between Mexico and LATAM “Authorities, investors, the financial sector and industry for a common agenda

The Latin America & Caribbean Regional Seminar will take place in Mexico City, in partnership with our strategic partners the CCFV (the Green Finance Advisory Council) and the Bank of Mexico. This three-day conference will focus on connecting the region’s priorities to accelerate sustainable finance between LATAM and Mexico. In the event, authorities, investors, the financial sector, and industry will unite for a common agenda.

The LAC region is in the front line of climate change impacts, but it also presents interesting opportunities to use green and sustainable finance to support all economic sectors moving towards a low carbon and resilient economy. Relevant stakeholders have come to play as thematic issuances are rising and main actors are developing policies, definitions, standards and using existing green taxonomies.

At one of the largest economic hubs in the region, the event in Mexico City will convene the most influential market participants and explore the sustainable finance landscape to understand how we will achieve the USD$5tn target of green bonds issuance needed to meet a low carbon future.
