Through the creation of Parades, Alan Lake Factori(e) reconnects with his choreographic language at the crossroads of dance, cinema and visual arts. In this new multidisciplinary opus, the choreographer gives birth to raw and symbolist universes in which humans, totally impregnated by their environment, evolve. Through genuine immersion in a dreamlike atmosphere, Parades tells an elusive symbolist tale with doctored imaginaries, eroded ambitions, disenchanted ideals, and sabotaged hegemonies. Nonetheless, something luminous and true calls and recalls the immanence of being in its powerful sobriety.
