Intergenerationality: how to build alliances between generations to generate transformative processes in territories and organizations
Information
How can we build spaces where generations not only coexist but truly collaborate to face together the great challenges of our time?
In a historical moment marked by complex crises and accelerated changes, dialogue between generations is not an option but an essential condition to imagine and create a more just and sustainable future.
Yet, many young people do not feel they are key players in the decision-making processes that affect them. For Ashoka, intergenerational collaboration is a strategic lever to enable systemic change: we have tested this in the field, supporting territories, institutions, and organizations in creating ecosystems where young people and adults jointly build visions, strategies, and solutions.
In this panel, we want to reflect — drawing from real experiences — on how to make intergenerational dialogue authentic, transformative, and lasting, and on the impact it can generate in communities, foundations, and businesses when it is truly put at the center.
