What is My Event? “My Event” is the hub to access your personalized Capture experience. “My Event” includes “My schedule,” “My meetings,” “My networking,” “My wish list,” and “My bookmarked companies.”
What is My Schedule? “My Schedule” is your custom-built schedule for the Capture Summit. There are two ways to add a session to your schedule. First, select a session directly from the list on the “Sessions” page by clicking the icon to the right of the session name. Second, click the Register button in the top right corner of the session detail page. Adding sessions to your schedule creates a personalized schedule.
What is My Meetings? “My Meetings” is a list of your scheduled meetings during the Capture Summit. It is also the place where you can adjust your formal meeting availability times. Attendees, speakers, and sponsors can request a meeting with you during your available times. You always have control and can choose to accept or decline each meeting request.
What is My Networking? “My Networking” is a list of all the people you’ve connected with while at the Capture Summit.
How do I connect with people? The Capture Summit app makes it easy for you to connect with fellow content creators. Click the “Connect” menu to see a list of attendees, speakers, and sponsors that you can connect with. The Capture Summit app will recommend connections based on your personalized profile. Want to connect with someone? Click their name to enter their profile page. From there write them a personal message in the Connect box and click “Send Connection Request.” The Capture app will notify you when they have accepted your request.
What happens after I connect with people? Once a connection has been accepted the fun begins! Now you and your contact can chat one-to-one directly in the app. You can even share PDF files. Want to meet “in person”? Connect via video chat. Video chat will work a little differently depending on the technology you are using. The video chat will open directly in the Capture app if you are using Chrome via a computer or an Android phone. If you are using an iPhone, when prompted, click “Continue in Browser – Beta.” It may take a minute to connect both parties, but once connected you can connect using both video and audio or choose audio only. If you are video chatting via computer you can also share your screen with the other party to collaborate.
What is My Wish List? “My Wish List” is a list of gear that you bookmarked from the product showcase. Click the “Gear” menu to see products and services offered by our sponsors. Click a product or service to learn more about it. Click “ADD TO MY WISH LIST” to bookmark a product or service you like.
What is My Bookmarked Companies? You cannot do what you do without the proper gear and services. Capture sponsors support your mission by providing the latest technology and gear for content creation. Visit the “Sponsors” menu to experience the virtual show floor. Click on the virtual booths to learn more about sponsors and their products and services available to support your ministry. Virtual booths include videos, educational material, products and services, meeting slots and more. Bookmark the sponsors you want to connect with during the summit. Your bookmarks are listed in the “My Bookmarked Companies” section.
