One-on-one debate: Will there be true intra-regional interconnection ecosystem in the future?

There have been many examples over the past 12 months of data centre partnerships struck between hyperscalers and the incumbent operators. Will there be true intra-regional interconnection ecosystem at some point in the future or whatever that has prevented the hyperscalers from connecting locally continue to remain?
