STORZ & BICKEL is the first and so far only manufacturer to offer medically approved vaporizers for the inhalative application of cannabinoids. Our company history began a little over 20 years ago, when Markus Storz developed the first prototype of the VOLCANO evaporator, which is now known worldwide, in 1996. When Jürgen Bickel became a partner in 2002, the company STORZ & BICKEL was formed. Since then we have grown steadily. Today we employ around 170 people, with the number of employees having more than doubled in the last five years.

Progressiveness, innovative strength and, above all, foresight are the success factors of our company history. These attributes are also reflected in our company building in Tuttlingen. Due to our rapid growth, we built our S&B Vapor Factory at the end of 2016 and completed it in May 2021 with the addition of the West Wing. With a total floor space of approx. 9000 m², the company building offers enough space for innovation, creative ideas as well as for our current and future employees. The building offers all employees a contemporary, comfortable and at the same time functional workplace, which conveys a strong sense of community through its open structures and implicitly results in the interactions of the work areas.
