The OMAFRA Field Crop Team works in collaboration with producers, SCIA associations, academics, government, industry and other OMAFRA staff to evaluate new technologies and issues that are of importance to the people of Ontario and field crop agriculture throughout the province. These reports summarize many of the projects which the Field Crop Team and staff from the Agriculture Development Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) were involved with over the past few years in partnership with commodity groups, industry, and the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA). These reports summarize both completed and on-going projects. Final versions of the full and completed report(s) will be uploaded to the site as completed

Our dedicated membership has significant representation in all commodity groups across the province. Field days, crop tours and local workshops are organized locally. Farmers, working with farmers has been the motto of OSCIA for decades. We are widely recognized and respected as leaders in the delivery of educational workshops and incentive programs to the Ontario farm community. Every year, we partner with OMAFRA to bring show visitors demonstration plots and plenty of information in our tent, and this year is no different!
