CANADIAN DELEGATION – INFORMATION, HOTEL AND AIR TRAVEL

What are the dates of the preparation sessions before VivaTech?

  • April 9, 2026: Preparation Session #1
  • April 23, 2026: Swapcard Training (optional)
  • May 14, 2026: Preparation Session #2
  • June 2, 2026: CSIS Security Briefing (optional)
  • June 4, 2026: Q&A Session (optional)
  • June 16, 2026: Mission Kick-off Meeting in Paris

What is the Canadian delegation app?

  • The app is called Swapcard. You will receive an email invitation with instructions to register once your participation fees have been paid through the Canadian delegation ticketing platform.

Can we access the list of participating Canadian companies?

  • Yes. The list is available on Swapcard under the “Organizations” tab.

Will there be networking opportunities dedicated to Canadian companies?

  • Yes. Some activities will be open to all, while others will be by invitation via Swapcard.

Are there any discounts for air travel?

  • Air France/KLM: To book a ticket at a preferential rate, please contact globalmeetings@airfrance.fr.

CANADA PAVILION – BOOTH AND SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES

Can we choose the location of our booth?

  • No. Booths are assigned by the organizing team.

Will the booth be equipped with a TV accessible via HDMI or USB?

  • Yes. You can display your content using an HDMI cable or a USB key. If you plan to connect a Mac, please bring an HDMI adapter.

What are the requirements for USB content (format, duration, loop)?

  • Files should generally be in standard video format (.mp4) with a reasonable duration. Loop playback is possible. PowerPoint format is also accepted.

Are the same methods valid for the presentation area?

  • Yes.

When will we receive our booth schedule? Will we have more than one time slot?

  • The full schedule will be shared during the preparation session on May 14, 2026.

Can we add promotional material to our booth?

  • No. To ensure visual consistency and fairness, no additional materials are permitted.

Is storage space available?

  • Yes. Each booth includes a storage cabinet, though space is limited.

When can we access our booth?

  • 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time slot. Please go directly to your assigned booth; our concierge team will confirm your presence.

Can we distribute brochures?

  • Yes, but we recommend bringing a limited quantity. It is not strongly encouraged.

Should booth content be bilingual?

  • English is recommended for B2B days (June 17–19). French is recommended on Saturday, June 20 (B2C).

When will we know if we have a speaking slot?

  • The schedule will be shared by May 14, 2026.

Can we ship materials in advance?

  • To be confirmed — logistical and customs information is currently being validated.

Is there a lounge space for calls or work?

  • No private workspace is provided. A networking area is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Will there be technical support on-site?

  • Yes. A technical team will be available to assist you.

Will there be a photo/video team? Will we have access to the content?

  • Yes. A gallery will be shared, and content will be available at the end of each day.

What security measures are in place?

  • VivaTech provides security services. However, you are responsible for your personal belongings. No additional security is provided specifically for the Canada Pavilion.

VIVATECH – INFORMATION AND TICKETS

What are the opening hours of VivaTech?

  • From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 17–20, 2026. Exhibitors may access the venue from 8:00 AM and must leave before 7:00 PM.

What does the “Startup” pass include? Is the Founders Lounge included?

  • The pass provides access to all floors of Hall 7 and all VivaTech stages. The Founders Lounge is not included with this type of ticket.
