Information
Over the years Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics has grown as a global brand, not only through its exceptional products but also its attitude and processes towards environmentally conscious design. It's no surprise that Lush chose to use Mosa Core Collection’s ceramic tiles in over 300 of its stores worldwide.
As sustainability is one of Mosa’s core values, it takes top priority in the development of new products, responsible production processes and optimal working conditions. Being the world’s first ceramic tile company to have gained the Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) Silver certification for nearly its entire tile collection. Continuously striving to be environmentally responsible, Lush and Mosa share the same philosophy.
Rosie Goodbourn, Creative Buyer at LUSH, explains: ‘At Lush we go the extra mile to ensure that the design of our shops fit within the ethics of our brand. It is important to us that we guarantee that everything we purchase as a company is sourced in a considerate and responsible manner, from the ingredients that make up our beautiful products to the materials we use to create our shops.’
‘We have been working in collaboration with Mosa for several years and tiles by Mosa can be found on our shop walls and floors across the globe. Mosa demonstrates a commitment to responsible manufacturing, using all natural materials as well as showing that it is possible to close the loop on waste with their cradle to cradle philosophy. As such, they fall perfectly in line with our belief that material considered as “waste” is valuable and should be treated accordingly.
The opening of one of our recent flagship projects in Liverpool was the perfect opportunity to continue our ongoing relations with Mosa. With over 3000 m2 surface area to cover, we installed Mosa tiles that provide us with an elegant, natural, easy to maintain flooring option that will stand the test of time.'
