Studio LloydStudio Lloyd is a female-run young lighting design studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. It is striving for diversity within the handcrafted lighting design scope and creates unique, functional, and one-off exclusive pieces.
The studio was founded in 2016 by Industrial Lighting Designer Ashlee Lloyd. Each piece at Studio Lloyd is delicately made with sublime attention to detail. Studio Lloyd incorporates the traditional technique of crochet into modern lighting and focuses on creating organic shapes within each unique design. We allow each fixture to develop organically & we combine luxurious high-quality materials. The products range from light sculpture installations to light pendants, seating, and decorative elements for international as well as local projects. The result is a culmination of functionality and true individuality.
