Illuminating Our Experiences with Human Centric Lighting (RIBA CPD) hosted by Lutron

In this RIBA approved CPD (Continuing Professional Development), hear from our host Lutron, on creating a human-centric lighting design.  

This process requires thinking more broadly – to consider both electric lighting and daylighting design together, and crafting them in a way that doesn’t just suit aesthetics but behaves in a way that caters to the occupants in the space by delivering the right light at the right time. 

The CPD will feature:     

• Defining human centric lighting and examine the four elements: quality light, natural light, connection to the outdoors & adaptive and personalized control      
• Exploring design best practices for human centric lighting and determine ways to communicate the value to clients      
• Analysing opportunities to specify human centric lighting in various space types      
• And finally to examine key design considerations and smart technologies that enable human centric lighting
