Porro was founded in 1925 in Brianza, the traditional birthplace of Italian quality furniture.
The culture of design as a familiar heritage and the principles governing the 100% Made in Italy production, purity and functionality, have enabled Porro gradually to secure a large share of the international market, also thanks to the close collaboration with international designers, such as Piero Lissoni, Art Director since 1987, Jean Marie Massaud, Alessandro Mendini, Front, GamFratesi, Gabriele and
Oscar Buratti.
Modular systems witharchitectural imprinting, made in a new cutting-edge plant according to a green approach to sustainable growth, are at the heart of Porro’s production, completed by beds, containers, bookcases, chairs, tables and accessories with clean lines and impeccable details.
Thanks to patented technological details, the selection of new essences and colors and the experimentation on finishes, industrial products are transformed into unique pieces tailored on each specific project as a made-to-measure dress, in the name of maximum customization. With over 600 retailers across the globe, Porro targets the high and luxury market segments.
The brand’s production vision makes it a protagonist also of the contract sector, with prestigious realizations like the Park View Manor Resort a Shenzen, the Bocage Hotel in Thailand, the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah in the Emirate of Ajman.
