Thanks to its expertise, Porro had the chance to renovate the historical Hotel Lutetia in Paris, designed by Wilmotte studio, which reopened its doors on July 12th.
Located at 45 Boulevard Raspail, the hotel was originally opened in 1910 by the Boucicaut family, founders of Le Bon Marché, then acquired by The Set.
Standing out in the design industry, Porro provided the project with its mastery in selecting materials and essences.
In the spectacular Bar Joséphine, which allies heritage and modernity, Porro realizes the tables with dark brown leather top. For the Orangerie, it realizes the tables in different shapes and sizes and for the Patio the outdoor tables with Lasa marble top.
Iconic heart of the hotel, The Saint Germain places roof a scenographic game table with chess-board made with black Marquinia inserts, various tables finish in the centre of the hall, and tables with eucalyptus top at its sides. Also in the Lutetia Brasserie, opening soon, the central table, the tables in different shapes , as well as the outdoor tables with Lasa marble, will have a Porro design.
In every room, the various tables and complements match with the background color of the room. Porro supplies the bed frames, the bedside tables and the benches. In addition, the metal desks and the coffee tables with a wooden or Statuario Altissimo marble top. For the bathrooms, the company supplies the satin finished natural aluminum stools.
Finally, Porro also contributes to the furnishing of the circular lobby with radiant benches and of the halls, with the guéridon tables in canaletto walnut. Porro counts on a presence also in the spectacular Spa, for which are realized 2 benches and 7 tables.
Porro is today a trendsetting brand thanks to its curiosity, vitality and capability to interact.
An attitude also behind the bespoke project for the Hotel Lutetia: a creative process in which the idea of Wilmotte has been shaped by the company and transformed into a finished product.
