Merano range was designed by Alex Gufler in 2010 and has proved popular over the decade. The chair combines solid wood lower structure with harmonic curves of moulded plywood seat and armrests. Thanks to used production technology, the chair is very light and does not have any screws or metal parts. It is offered in an upholstered and wooden seat option. It is stackable and can be fitted with fittings for joining in lines.
When using a cart, up to 14 plain chairs can be stacked together. The Merano collection includes an armchair, a lounge chair and a barstool.
Merano is one of the most popular product in the portfolio. Innovative design of the chair consists of two axially intersecting moulded plywood pieces guaranteeing a very high level of comfort.
Just like other models in this collection, the Merano lounge armchair also combines solid wood legs with bent plywood in the seat and armrest. This time, the typical shapes of the backrest and armrest have been joined into a single piece, with comfortable upholstery on the interior.
