The Life Sciences team in Brussels has considerable experience acting on leading matters in the life sciences sector. Although best known for our corporate transactional work, we also advise on the legal implications of introducing new technologies to the market, including challenges around key commercial partnerships, collecting, exchanging and securing data as part of transformation projects and we also assist clients with IP, regulatory, distribution and advertising issues.

We are a leading life science firm for cross-border venture capital, M&A transactions and ECM work. We assisted Delphi Genetics, a Belgian CDMO company, on the sale of 100% of its shares (auction process coordinated with US-based investment bank Achelous Partners) and advised OncoDNA on their friendly takeover bid to acquire all outstanding shares of the French company IntegraGen. We assisted Bone Therapeutics in concluding a €15 million fundraising, a €10 million PIPE including US and European investors and regularly support them in all their financing and M&A transactions. Furthermore, we are assisting The Adecco Group with the restructuring of the Modis Life Sciences division in Belgium and assisted ImmunXperts on their sale to Nexelis group.

We are also regularly advising Takeda Ventures and Gilde Healthcare on their investments in Belgium.
