NLP, AI and ML: Beyond the Hype

AI technologies, such as natural language processing (NLP), have been around for some time, and there is much hype around the potential of using these potentially disruptive technologies for decision making in the life science industry. We will discuss how NLP does indeed live up to the hype; reviewing what NLP is, the role NLP plays in machine learning approaches, and some real-world use cases for application to life sciences and healthcare to improve drug development and patient outcomes.
