Vintage Haori jackets - Meisen silk
Haori
Information
Meisen is a weaving technique where the threads are dyed with stencils before they are woven, resulting in bold prints and a "blurred" ikat effect. This type of silk was very popular from the 1920s-1950s and it results in a textile that has a crisp, light feel.
