LMR has established an innovative platform for responsibly sourced sandalwood on Lifou Island in New Caledonia, with an exclusive partnership with a local company belonging to the Xepenehe tribe.⁣ ⁣ This partnership guarantees a sustainable and long-term source of revenues to the local cutters and producers of essential oil and offers new jobs in a region where unemployment is very high.⁣ ⁣ LMR also pre-financed all the equipment needed by our partner to build a new facility.
