ICON: A strategy for developing a more qualitative and sustainable palette

Eurofragance will present its ICON Program, an extensive strategy for improving its palette of perfumery raw materials and ensuring that each of these ingredients is more sustainable. In order to create admirable fragrances, one must work with admirable perfumery ingredients, but smelling “nice or wonderful” is no longer enough.

With its ICON Program, Eurofragance’s approach is to assemble collections of ingredients that are both highly qualitative and offer at least one sustainability value. Their presentation will outline the ongoing process they have put in place to identify promising ingredients, verify their ecological/ethical record and classify them into one of their distinct ICON collections.

They will explain why this approach matters to Perfumers, customers and, ultimately, to the end users of fragranced products. In addition to sharing technical details on how ingredients make into one of their ICON Collections, they will share operational recommendations for improving one’s palette of perfumery ingredients.
