The manual tuning of battery model parameters takes a lot of time and hard work; time and hard work you can save with AVL’s Battery Model Factory. The Battery Model Factory software connects a battery model to the measurements created in a battery test program. A smart algorithm then optimizes the selected parameters automatically and makes them shareable with all locations where the battery model is used. To avoid an unrealistic model of behaviour, the virtual component needs to behave just like the real one. To achieve this, the Battery Model Factory optimizes the model parameters and minimizes the error between real data and model output data.
