CRRC's medium-low speed maglev train negotiates a minimum radius curve on a maximum gradient of 70‰. With a unique feature of low noise, zero carbon emissions and punctuality in all weather conditions, it meets medium-capacity rail transit demands to achieve rapid transportation between urban and suburban areas. We use our specialized knowledge from design and application studies of existing medium-low speed maglev trains for the R&D and gained know-how from school-enterprise cooperation. We have mastered core technologies such as magnetic suspension control and driving system of a linear motor. Our Changsha Airport Line is the longest medium-low maglev train line for commercial operation in the world. As of the fifth day of May, it recorded an operation mileage of 3.8 million km and a punctuality rate of 99.91%. Our new generation maglev reached a top speed of 160 km/h and passed a medium-speed test. It has a 30% increase in traction power and a 60% increase in speed.
