As we prepare for the next phase of hybrid learning, academic misconduct continues to challenge faculty and administration alike. While academic integrity is essential to ensuring student success and degree fidelity, virtual formats arguably make cheating more tempting than ever.
So, what can be done to create a classroom culture of integrity, regardless of modality? What tools and strategies are most effective in this effort? How can administrators and instructors influence students' decisions to (or not to) cheat? To answer these questions and more, this session will feature a panel of three experts from the International Center for Academic Integrity: Dr. Camilla Roberts (Director of Honor & Integrity System at Kansas State University, Dr. David Rettinger (Director of Academic Integrity at University of Mary Washington), and Dr. Tricia Bertram-Gallant (Director of Academic Integrity at UC San Diego.) Join them for a candid discussion of how we can make cheating the exception and integrity the norm in the 21/22 school year.
