Information

In the US and internationally, students have suffered significant learning loss in both math and reading due to Covid, relative to the gains for a typical school year. At the same time, the use of educational technology has increased - we are entering a new digital education era. With our partners at Edulastic and Capti, ETS is offering innovative, research-based classroom assessment tools “Testlets for Math and ELA, and ReadBasix for Reading“ that teachers can use to assess learning loss, and help students advance in their learning. Testlets are Scenario-based formative assessments that are practical and engaging, easily integrated into curriculum. ReadBasix is a diagnostic assessment of 6 key reading skills to inform instruction & intervention, as well as address learning loss. Both tools are web-based to support learning in this new digital era.
