The Planner - Royal Town Planning Institute

The role of The Planner – the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) membership magazine – is to draw together these many strands to frame planning as a discipline that asks the question: How do we want to live? By viewing society’s ‘big issues’ through the lens of planning, The Planner is socially engaged and forward-looking. It emphasises solutions as much as challenges, and reflects back to its audience the humane, publicly-minded origins of planning as a profession.
